Dani Opens Its Terrace on the Rooftop of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid

Ever since it opened its doors in September last year, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid has served as a tribute to its host city and provided a meeting place for both local residents and visitors to the capital alike. From a privileged location on the roof terrace of the building, Dani is a love letter from Chef Dani García to a city that has always welcomed him with open arms and the place where he offers his famous down-to-earth haute cuisine. For his menu in this spectacular space, he has updated some of the dishes that made his career and combined them with reinterpretations of other classic dishes in which the influence of his roots in Andalusia can be clearly felt and tasted. Now is the time to embrace the iconic Four Seasons Rooftop Brasserie as we welcome in the good weather. In its own right, this space has become one of the most sought-after places to enjoy some one-of-a-kind views of the city from this corner of Calle Alcalá and Calle Sevilla.

The terrace at Dani seeks to reflect the two distinct atmospheres to be found inside the brasserie itself. The area looking out over Calle Sevilla offers an all-day snack menu that can be enjoyed without a reservation. This is the ideal option for those seeking a more casual experience with a selection of delights that include the ham and cheese sandwich with Parmesan crust, Havarti cheese and slices of Iberian ham; the cured Iberian pork loin sandwich with melted brie; the crab Benedict on a toasted croissant; or the chicken nuggets with foie gras and black truffle. It is also the ideal option for trying the delicious classic and signature cocktails from Miguel Perez at any time of the day.

In turn, the central part of the terrace and its side overlooking Calle Alcalá will become an extension of the brasserie, offering the same lunch and dinner reservation service. This magical spot in the heart of the city is where one can enjoy this chef’s unmissable signature dishes, such as his Tomato Nitro (an unquestionable icon of the flagship Dani García Restaurant that earned three Michelin Stars in 2018); the sea urchin tortilla; the crispy shrimp named after one of the maestros of his kitchen, Joël Robuchon; and the Motril lobster with ajoblanco ice-cream and sherry wine onions, a huge success from Dani García’s repertoire since 2002. Visitors should most certainly not forget to look at the menu section dedicated to tuna from Barbate, especially in this season, and the other hit dishes from Dani, such as the Rossini burger or the king crab tagliatelle with sherry cream.

To celebrate the opening of this terrace, Miguel Perez, Head Bartender at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, has created a list of refreshing and tasty cocktails that range from the citrusy, tropical and fruity to other more complex and special ideas. Each one takes its name from the city districts that can be seen from the terrace. The Sol is made with rum, manzanilla pasada, mango and elderflower; the Austrias is made with tequila, pineapple falernum and green chartreuse; the Chamberí is made with vodka, kumquats and ginger; the Malasaña is made with gin, verdejo wine, thyme, lemon and green apple; and the Salamanca is made with sherry, clarified pineapple and chamomile. These unique liquid delights are uplifted by an extra hit of enjoyment on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with the DJ sessions from 5:30 pm.

By opening its terrace, the new place-to-be in the capital takes to the skies of Madrid with views that transcend gastronomy.
